In a shocking turn of events, NASA has declared the South Dakota State University team the winner of their annual Aeronautics Competition. We're not sure what's more astonishing - that these kids didn't totally crash and burn or that anyone still gives a flying fig about aircraft maintenance. Meanwhile, the rest of us are over here trying to figure out how to fix our own problems, like, you know, global warming and actual life, but hey, let's give it up for those clever college kids who managed to create some mildly innovative systems that might possibly keep your grandma's flight from being delayed 20 minutes. Congrats, we guess.
